In addition to founding Forsitar, John serves as President of J Angelo Design Build, a full-service commercial and residential construction firm responsible for the design, construction and remodeling of numerous projects. Additioinally, in 1993 John founded Modern Contractors, Inc, in Fort Worth, TX.  Modern is a successful construction company that focuses primarily on commerical/municipal projects.  He sold the company in 2005 and it continues successful operations under its new ownership.  Throughout his construction career, John’s responsibilities have included business development, acquisitions, planning and strategy, property development, obtaining entitlements and financing, designing, project management, bidding, negotiating contracts, project start-up and close-out, customer follow-up, financial management, and staffing.

Prior to focusing on construction, John spent several years in the property management industry. His experience involved all aspects of managing portfolios of over $150 million in properties consisting of retail, multi-family, and high rise office space. Additionally, John has managed staffs of 60+ employees. Prior to beginning his career, John studied Business Administration at Texas A & M University, and has continued his education throughout his career by completing a vast variety of coursework at industry specific institutions and associations.

Gay serves as Vice-President in an advisory capacity. Drawing on her strong background in organizational design and change strategy, Gay advises on the company’s business processes, critical path, information technology, and program management as it relates to business development, managing accounts payable/accounts receivable, preparing financial reports for investors, lenders and partners.
